Like others I was put off by poor reviews on Amazon, but noticed glowing reviews from other sellers around the internet. It looks like all of the negative reviews are for other models, not the 40" version. I took the plunge and any concern about light bleeding was dismissed as soon as the TV turned on - wow! By default the picture quality and calibration is superb and required no changes other than turning on game mode for my PS4 and PC which I've read reduces input lag to 28ms - supposedly amongst the top for high quality 4K TVs.
The PS4 upscaled to 4K looks fantastic and I have accidentally ended up replacing my 24" computer monitor with this - the Windows desktop and general web browsing looks superb in 4K at 40 inches! (A note if you plan to do this - unless you have a new Nvidia graphics card you'll need an adapter to convert mini-display port to HDMI 2.0 to display 4K at 60hz, as older Nvidia and all AMD graphics cards don't have an HDMI 2.0 port - this TV does. The first adapter to work comes out mid December by Club 3D). My computer's graphics card is no 4K beast so I play my games at 1080p but even sat up close the TV does a great job of upscaling the 1080p content - Rome 2's epic battles look great sat up close, which I certainly could not have stomached with my 4 year old 32" Samsung.
